FAFSA Verification: What You Need To Know

Every year, approximately 25 percent of all FAFSA applications are flagged for verification. Typically, this includes a large number of Pell-eligible students from low-income backgrounds. Many students and families have questions about this process and this resource aims to answer some of the most common questions and provide additional information about how students can quickly navigate the process to ensure that they maximize their federal student aid opportunities.
