Kristiane Sonnenberg,
College Completion Coach, Trellis
Kristiane grew up on Yokota Air Base in Tokyo, Japan. She earned her Bachelor’s degrees in English and Religious Studies from the University of Utah, where she first developed her passion for advising students. Kristiane earned her Master of Arts in Teaching degree from the Relay Graduate School of Education in New Orleans. While working as a high school English teacher in Orleans and Jefferson Parish charter schools, she advocated for student success by founding Gender & Sexuality Alliance clubs and coaching students on college admissions. Outside of work, Kristiane enjoys tinkering with her 3d printers, playing with her dog (Violet, a pit bull mix), and reading hard science fiction.
